He was a backup dancer for a local all-girl rap group as a child. He and Timothy originally worked under the name 2Ekwip.
Did you know: He and Timothy’s first sold song was titled “The Rain.” It would appear on Akon’s album Konvicted. At the time of initially signing a record contract with Geffen Records and Akon’s KonLive in 2007, he was known by the stage name Da Spokesman.
