Qri was born in Seoul, South Korea on December 12, 1986. Actress and K-pop singer widely known as the front woman of the Korean girl group T-ara. She first made her television debut in the 2009 drama Queen SeonDeok as Princess Young Mo. She went on to claim numerous cameos and other acting roles in shows like King Geunchogo, Giants, and Master of Study.
She studied in the theater and visual arts department at Myungji University and worked as a model and bassist for the band Six Color before joining T-ara.
