American Gospel Singer
Paul was born in United States on July 13, 1964. Southern rock, blues, and gospel singer and songwriter known for his diverse range of styles within music. He is known for his work with A&M Records and Perpetual Obscurity Records and for his albums “Don’t Let the Devil Ride” and “A Long Way from Tupelo”.
Prior to music, he was a professional boxer. After winning several middleweight championships, he began performing at clubs where he was eventually discovered by Miles Copeland. After gaining an opening spot for Sting, he signed a recording contract with A&M Records. His debut album Hammer & Nail was released in 1997.
