Miles was born in New York, United States on November 12, 1957. Known for such rhythm & blues hits as “Let’s Start Love Over” and “I’ve Been a Fool For You,” this popular vocalist was also briefly the frontman of the hit disco group the Village People.
After studying violin at the Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music, he became a bassist, flautist, and keybord player with the United States Air Force Band.
