Mark was born in Florida, United States on May 28, 1960. Republican Governor of South Carolina from 2003 to 2011 who made national news in 2009 when he went missing for six days and then later confessed to having an affair with an Argentinian woman. However, he overcame his infidelity scandal in 2013 when he was elected a Congressman for South Carolina’s 1st district.
He reached the rank of Captain in the U.S. Air Force Reserve after enlisting in 2003.
