Diego was born in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico on November 29, 1990. He had a leading role in the musical Rock Of Ages, and played the role of Alex Santiago in Pretty Little Liars alongside Ashley Benson. He was cast as Pete Diller on the FOX horror/comedy series Scream Queens.

He was on the Mexican soap opera, Reblede. While on the show, he released the single, “Responde,” which rose to #13 on the Mexican music charts.
