He is also known for his voiceover work on the ITV animated program 2DTV and for his hosting work on the children’s quiz show Horrible Histories: Gory Games.

Before beginning his work as a comedian, voice actor, and television personality, he was a literature and philosophy student at the University of Warwick. He first appeared on screen in a 1998 episode of the situation comedy How Do You Want Me?
