Coach Reid, he’s got nothing but good things to say about her. He’s known her folks since way back. Solid people, he says. Met her when she was just a kid.
“She’s got her feet on the ground, that one,” he’d tell you.
And her fame? Well, it’s not something the old man hasn’t noticed. He’s 65, seen a lot, and he reckons, “With the queen gone, she might just be the most famous woman around. Handles it well though.”
Now, about all that chatter around Taylor and Travis. You know, the constant buzz, the whispers, the critics. Taylor’s got a name for them – the “dads, Brads, and Chads.”
Coach Reid? He doesn’t think it’s a big deal. Doesn’t distract the players, he says.
“Honestly, it was never an issue,” he’d tell you. “Travis, he dealt with it. She did too. No problem at all.”
