Selena Gutierrez is finally speaking up. The star of “16 and Pregnant” has decided to share her thoughts on her late ex, Sean Garinger.
Sean, the father of her two daughters, Dareli (3) and Esmi (19 months), tragically passed away recently. The accident happened on Feb. 28, at his home in Boone, N.C. He was just 20.
Selena opened up to The Daily Mail in an interview. It was published on March 5. She said, “No matter the circumstances, that was my kids’ father.”
She and Sean had a history. They were together for more than nine years. He was her first love, her first everything. They had two beautiful daughters together, for which she’ll always be grateful.
Selena was a reality star on MTV. She appeared on the sixth season of “16 and Pregnant” with Sean. She confessed that they weren’t on “the best of terms” at the time of his death.
But, she said, they had “finally gotten on with our lives”. They didn’t talk one on one much. Communication was usually through her sisters or his mom.
Selena revealed that Sean was doing better. He was over 200 days sober.
