She sees her role, given her musical talent, as a conduit. “I believe that my job, given my [musical] gift, is to take songs to the people,” she shared with Fox News Digital at Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Gala in February 2023. If you’ve got a gift, she argues, share it with the world.
McLoughlin, who first graced the red carpet with Lambert at the 2019 ACM Awards, cleans up pretty well too. He looks dashing in a suit.
“This is Brendan’s second Grammys,” Lambert pointed out about their swanky 2023 date weekend. The 2021 Grammys were a bit odd, being held outdoors. “The one he came to before two years ago was still a little bit weird. So this will be the first normal Grammys that he’s been to with me.”
She was up for four awards, but the Palomino artist wasn’t performing. “So this is our night to sit back and watch the show,” she said.
What’s the secret to being each other’s forever-seatmate? McLoughlin has a simple answer: communication. “If you can actually just sit on the couch and discuss what’s on your mind and what’s in your heart, makes everything so much easier.”
But Lambert wouldn’t want to share her couch with just anyone. “It’s nice to have a partner in that, someone by your side that supports you, loves you and believes in you,” she told People. “He loves me for me. It’s a really cool thing to have in my life.”
