Kody Brown, of Sister Wives fame, once quipped about his first encounter with Robyn in 2009. He humorously recalled, “She looked like a soccer mom.”
Robyn, then a single mom, had a van, three kids, and was divorced. Kody’s initial reaction was one of apprehension. He thought, “I didn’t need a van, a divorced woman, and three kids in my life—that’s just trouble.”
Fast forward nearly fifteen years, and they’re still together. The couple has added two more children to their family: son Solomon, 12, and daughter Ariella, 7.
As for expanding their team with additional members, that’s not on the cards. Robyn’s feelings on this matter are quite strong. “I really, really struggle with it,” she confessed.
Her struggle stems from the departure of Meri, Janelle, and Christine from their group. She expressed her feelings on the December Sister Wives: One on One special. “It feels, like, ‘Oh, well. Those didn’t work. So, on to [someone] new,'” Robyn said.
She finds this hard. In fact, she emphasized, “That’s really, really hard for me.” To her, it feels disrespectful.
