“60 doesn’t feel like 60 to me, and Harry doesn’t feel 72 either,” she mused. Then, a number pops up, and you’re like, ‘Oh, dang!’ That’s the thing I’ll always resist. I’ve mulled it over quite a bit, you know, since I hit the big 6-0 in July. There’s this whole concept of aging with grace. But my take? ‘To heck with it. I’m gonna age disgracefully.’
When the chance to pose almost in the buff for Cosmo came up, Rinna saw it as a golden opportunity. It was a chance to show her model daughters, Delilah Hamlin, 25, and Amelia Hamlin, 22, that sexiness isn’t confined to youth.
“I was buzzing to shoot this cover,” she confessed. “This is the kind of thing that makes a difference.” She paused. “It makes a difference to my girls. It makes a difference to women everywhere, making them think, ‘Wow. You can do that. There’s no need to retire, to tone it down, to mellow out when you hit 60 or as you age.'”
“You can’t beat aging,” she went on. “I don’t necessarily need to look like I’m 20, though it’s fun if you can pull it off. You get me? It’s about adapting to this era and still feeling good, staying curious, passionate, and happy.”
