KJ Apa and Clara Berry are no longer an item. The French model confirmed the breakup with the Riverdale star, less than four years into their relationship.
In a TikTok video dated Feb. 25, Clara responded to a fan’s query about her relationship status. Her response, translated from French, was a simple “No.” She then added, “You can see that I’m happier, no?”
Clara, mother to her and KJ’s two-year-old son, Sasha Vai Keneti Apa, spoke about life post-split. She insisted that “everything is better” now. She added, “I think it’s better to have parents, who are separated, who are happy and who can be the best version of themselves, than staying together in a situation that it not working.”
She also shared her feelings about the breakup. She said, “its going well,” but admitted that sharing custody of Sasha has been tough.
The 30-year-old model expressed her struggle with not being with her son half the time. “I am not with my son 50 percent of the time and therefore won’t know 50 percent of his life,” she explained. She confessed that this was “something that is hard to accept.”
