Josh Duhamel is now on diaper duty. The Transformers star recently became a dad again, this time with his wife, Audra Mari.
The couple shared their joyous news on Instagram. The announcement came on January 11, alongside a sweet black-and-white snapshot of their newborn’s tiny feet.
The caption of the post, dated January 16, revealed the baby’s name. “Shepherd Lawrence Duhamel,” they wrote, sharing their child’s moniker with the world.
Josh is already a father to a 10-year-old son, Axl. Axl’s mom is Josh’s ex-wife, the famous singer Fergie. Now, Axl has a new role – that of an older brother.
Josh shared a cute anecdote about Axl’s reaction to the news of Audra’s pregnancy. The kid was concerned about his place in his dad’s heart. “Am I going to be—You’re still going to love me, though, too, right?” Axl had asked, according to Josh.
The “Win a Date With Tad Hamilton!” actor reassured his firstborn. “Of course I’m going to still going to love you,” he told Axl. The boy had another question, “I’m still going to be your firstborn son, though, right?” To which Josh responded, “Yeah, you’re still the firstborn son!”
