Jenna Dewan recently shared her daughter, Everly’s reaction to the 2006 movie “Step Up,” the film that brought her parents together. According to Dewan, Everly wasn’t impressed with the movie and said, “can we watch something good?” However, the 10-year-old is a big fan of dancing, just like her famous parents. In a recent interview, Channing Tatum revealed that his daughter is very much into Celtic Irish dancing.

Channing and Jenna met and fell in love on the set of “Step Up” and exchanged vows in 2009. However, the couple decided to separate in 2018 and were officially divorced a year later. They share custody of their daughter, Everly. Since then, Dewan has moved on with Steve Kazee, with whom she welcomed her son Callum. The couple got engaged in 2020. Meanwhile, Channing has been dating Zoë Kravitz since 2021.

Although Everly may not be interested in watching “Step Up,” she shares her parents’ passion for dancing. Channing shared that his daughter is very taken with Celtic Irish dancing, and they have been listening to Celtic music and practicing dancing together for the past two years.

It’s heartwarming to see that despite Channing and Jenna’s separation, they both continue to be doting parents to their daughter, and they share a passion for dancing that has clearly been passed on to their little girl. It’ll be exciting to see if Everly eventually becomes a fan of the movie that ignited her parents’ love story, but for now, she’s content with exploring her own interests.
