Jason Momoa celebrated Earth Day in style by promoting his company’s latest line of products, which seeks to replace single-use plastic bottles with recyclable aluminum ones. In line with his eco-conscious efforts, the event was catered using recyclable bread baskets, showcasing yet another way to decrease plastic consumption. The “Aquaman” star took to Instagram to post a video of himself pulling the new bottles out of his bike shorts. In the video, Momoa promotes the new larger sizes of the bottles, including a new passion flavor. He even recruited a friend to star in the video as “Plastic Pete,” a litterer who gets taken down by Momoa on a New Zealand beach where the skit was filmed.

Momoa’s company, Mananalu Water, is working towards eliminating single-use plastic bottles from their products. The company seeks to encourage people to reduce, reuse, and recycle as a way of taking care of Mother Earth. Momoa captioned his post, “Having a beautiful silly earth day with my friends.” He also thanked his followers for their support and urged them to join the movement towards eliminating single-use plastic from their lives.

This is not the first time Momoa has used his social media presence to promote a good cause. In March, he promoted his clothing line by baring his butt on Instagram. He has also been vocal about his support for Indigenous rights and his love for nature. Momoa’s Earth Day post is a reminder that we all have a part to play in taking care of the planet, and that we can all make a difference by reducing our use of single-use plastics.
