Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s flame fizzled out way before they publicly acknowledged their split. The couple’s relationship, surprisingly devoid of intimacy, was laid bare on The Valley. This was months before Brittany revealed their break-up in February, after a four-year marriage.
Brittany reminisced about their early days during an episode of the Bravo series aired on April 9. “When Jax and I first met, it was awesome,” she said. They were intimate constantly, not missing a single day. However, things took a drastic turn. “I’m talking twice in the past year,” she added.
In 2021, the couple welcomed their son, Cruz. The Vanderpump Rules alums admitted that parenthood became their full-time job, overshadowing their intimate moments. Brittany explained to Jax, “We’ve put the kid first for so long and he’s always gonna come first.” Yet, she emphasized the need for their bond to remain strong.
Jax, however, had a different perspective. He felt that expanding their family would only exacerbate their marital issues. “If we’re gonna have more kids, we’re gonna go further apart,” the 44-year-old expressed his concern. He was adamant that they couldn’t let that happen.
