Sofia Richie is ushering in a fresh phase of her life. She and her husband, Elliot Grainge, are expecting their first child together, a baby girl. The news broke on January 25th.
Sofia spilled the beans to Vogue, revealing her growing baby bump during a photoshoot. She said, “I found out super early.” She was only about four weeks into her pregnancy at the time.
She discovered her pregnancy while on a whirlwind trip to Milan for fashion week. “I was attending the Prada show,” she explained. It was a quick 24-hour turnaround trip, and she felt awful but brushed it off as jet lag.
Once she got back to Los Angeles, the 25-year-old decided to take a pregnancy test. Sofia, who had been trying for a baby with her music executive husband since their April nuptials, shared, “Elliot was already used to me taking tests randomly.” So, he didn’t bat an eyelid when she said she was checking again.
She used one of those not-so-great at-home tests. “There was the faintest of lines,” she recalled. Sofia was so accustomed to seeing negatives that she immediately noticed when something looked even slightly different.
