Christie Murphy and Jamie Martin are thrilled to announce some exciting news. They’ve welcomed two precious new additions to their family.
The couple, known from the Big Brother series, are now proud parents. Christie gave birth to their twin daughters, Sage Martin Murphy and Sela James Murphy, on January 29. This exclusive news comes courtesy of E! News.
Christie, a familiar face from season 21 of the CBS competition show, is overjoyed. “The twins are doing great!” she tells E!. “They’re happy, healthy, and thriving!”
She goes on to share her profound emotions. “Honestly, I’ve never felt anything like it in my life,” she admits. “I never knew a feeling like this even existed!”
She’s also feeling pretty powerful after her labor experience. “I literally pushed out two humans,” she marvels. “That’s just mind-blowing to me!”
But it’s not all roses. “Don’t get me wrong, I’m tired. Very, very tired…but it’s worth every single second of it,” the reality star confesses.
The twins’ names have a special story behind them. “Since my wife, Jamie and the girls took my last name, we wanted to honor Jamie’s full birth name in both of their names,” Christie explains. “‘James’ after Jamie and ‘Martin’ after her maiden name. It feels special and right!” she adds.
